Centreville Chicopee is an east Kitchener neighbourhood nestled between the east side of Highway 8 and the Grand River. Idlewood and Stanley Park lie to the north. If you commute, you’ll find access to the 401 excellent. The expressway is also very close. There’s good public transit including the LRT stop at Fairview Mall.

The Centreville portion predates Chicopee by many years with the oldest sections dating into the late 1950s. But the bulk of the homes in the area date from between 1970 and 1990 with some sections as new as the early 2000s. There is also some new construction in and around the ski hill if you want a new home.

Centreville Chicopee is a mix of rental housing, affordable towns and single detached properties at multiple price points. The nicer homes tend to be in the newer portions of Chicopee.

For recreation you’ve got Chicopee ski hill which offers plenty to do all year round. The Fairway Road strip has great shopping, restaurants and a movie theatre. Fairview Mall is another popular choice currently under renovation. The Activa Sportsplex is ideal for athletic kids and the Auditorium is nearby for watching OHL games.
