The Auditorium neighbourhood is located in the south end of the east ward. The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium and Knollwood Park take up a lot of the local real estate and offer plenty of recreational opportunities. Rockway golf course is right next door. Kitchener’s downtown is within walking distance making it easy to see a show or go out for dinner.

There’s lots of selection for groceries. The Frederick mall Valu-mart, Central Fresh Market and the Farmers Market are the closest and there’s 3 nearby Zehrs too. There are plenty of smaller shops downtown as well.

The expressway and highway 8 is very easy to access if you commute via car. The 401 is maybe 15 minutes on a typical day. The LRT is one street over from the neighbourhood and the area is covered by several bus routes as well.

If your kids attend St. Mary’s high school the LRT is the perfect choice. The Catholic primary school, St. Anne, is in the neighbourhood as is Sheppard Public. The other public board schools are right next door.

This mature urban locale is a hidden gem, featuring many gorgeous properties on spacious lots. The older homes in and around Krug and Weber are century vintage. As you move south and east the properties become newer, dating to the 30s and 40’s. Most of these homes are 1 ½ and 2 storey. Bungalows on the east side are the newest properties in the area. They are somewhat smaller and were built into the late 1950s.
