Forest Heights is the original west end Kitchener neighbourhood located just north of the expressway. Accessing the 401 would typically be a 25 minute drive. There’s good public transit but Kitchener’s downtown is a fair distance away.

This family friendly suburb has a community centre and plenty of great local schools. There are parks and walking trails throughout the area. Tennis courts, soccer pitches, a pool, a library, a skateboard park and a running track can all be found at FHCI, the local high school. There are several ball diamonds at the various public schools in the area.

The Boardwalk, the Sunrise Centre and Highland Hills Mall are great for shopping and the area has plenty of grocery choices as well.

Forest Heights dates from the mid 70’s into the 90’s in the west end Westheights section. The area is mostly single detached with a wide range of styles and price points. More affordable choices include some townhouses and semis making Forest Heights ideal for first time buyers as well.
