Victoria Hills is a mature Kitchener neighbourhood located between Fischer Hallman and Belmont. The railway and Highland are the boundaries to the north and south.

The central location makes getting around easy. You can hit the expressway from the bottom of Belmont or use Fischer Hallman. It’s easy to get to the 401 in under a half hour. For Guelph you can head straight out Victoria. The neighbourhood has plenty of public transportation. You can access the LRT from 4 different bus routes.

For recreation, entertainment & shopping there’s Highland Rd. along Belmont to Westmount,  Belmont Village and Highland Hills Mall. And downtown Kitchener is close.

For nature there’s Gzowski Park, Filsinger Natural Area, and Monarch Woods. Queensmount arena has hockey, lacrosse and skating. KW Gymnastic School and the Community Centre are great choices too.

You’ll need groceries and there’s plenty to choose from. Central Fresh Market, Food Basics, a Sobeys, and a Real Canadian Superstore are just a few of your choices

There are a ton of local schools but only one, A.R. Kaufman, is inside the boundaries. See the schools section below for more info.

Victoria Hills is a mix of multi-storey residential, commercial and single family property. Much of the eastern half of the area is either multi family low-rise rental or commercial. Look west of Westmount for a contemporary suburban feel. Single family homes are typically smaller bungalows, backsplits and sidesplits, along with semis and town homes. The earliest stuff dates from the 1950s into the 1980s for the newest parts.

This family friendly neighbourhood offers good value for people getting into the market for the first time.
