Beechwood West is a somewhat mature west-end Waterloo neighbourhood located between Erbsville Rd. and Fischer Hallman, just north or Erb. Expressway access to the south is best via Ira Needles or Fischer Hallman. The area is served by public transit on all the main roads. The LRT is two neighbourhoods to the east.

This suburb hosts a higher end demographic and features many outstanding properties. There are semis and townhomes in the south end and a good selection of single detached throughout, offering buyers a variety of styles and price points. The oldest properties in this neighbourhood would date to the early nineteen eighties with the bulk of development finished by the early 2000’s.

The contemporary suburban lifestyle that many people desire is Beechwood West. A local homeowners association provides a pool, tennis and basketball courts. McCrae Park adds a bit of green-space to the community as do several walking trails. Golf, The Boardwalk, Costco, Laurel Creek and the countryside are close at hand. Local schools are good to excellent for the most part.
