Country Hills West is a suburban south-west Kitchener neighbourhood located between Block Line, Bleams, Westmount and Strasburg.

For commuting you can get to the 401 directly via Homer Watson. Expressway access is Fischer Hallman or Homer Watson. There’ s good public transit with the LRT one neighbourhood to the east. Public and Catholic schools for the primary grades are in the neighbourhood itself. The two high schools are a quick bus ride away.

The area has lots to offer for active lifestyles such as fantastic McLennan Park, Lions Arena, the Activa Sportsplex and the Peter Hallman ball yard. For shopping you’ve got the Fairway Road strip, Forest Glen Plaza, the Sunrise Centre and the Alpine Centre. There are more than a few grocery stores to chose from as well.

The vast majority of the housing dates from the early1980s into the late 1990’s. There are a few newer townhouse developments of 2010 vintage as well. Housing types are predominantly single detached bungalows, backsplits, 2 storeys, towns and semis.
