Country Hills is a south end suburban Kitchener neighbourhood located between Blockline, Courtland, Bleams and Strasburg. The western half was fully developed years ago. The east side is undergoing a huge development boom with many new projects completed or underway.

For commuting you can get to the 401 via Homer Watson, or go north to the expressway. The LRT runs along the east boundary and bus routes cover the area as well. Country Hills public school is in the neighbourhood with the other grades and the Catholic schools a short distance away.

The area has lots to offer for active lifestyles such as fantastic McLennan Park, Steckle Woods, the Activa Sportsplex and the Peter Hallman ball yard. For shopping you’ve got Fairview Mall, the Sunrise Centre and the Alpine Centre. There are more than a few grocery stores to chose from as well.

Housing dates back to the 1970s in the older parts. Housing types are predominantly single detached, with the balance being medium to large apartment buildings on the west side. The newer section features townhouses, detached properties and larger apartment buildings. This side is not fully built out yet.
