The Glenridge neighbourhood in Waterloo is located just west of the expressway on the north side of University. Access to the expressway is pretty much instant via King or University, making the area ideal for commuting. The area is well covered by bus routes. The LRT stops at nearby Conestoga Mall.

Residential development occurred in two distinct phases; in the 1960s, and later in the early 2000s. Portions along King and Weber are heavy with commercial development. But you’ll find plenty of single detached homes, some low rise rentals and condos in the residential sections. These portions of Glenridge are pleasantly calm and quiet and the older parts are full of mature trees. The neighbourhood is bisected by a prominent green-belt offering up walking trails and tons of nature.

Glenridge’s somewhat central location makes getting to and from attractions in Waterloo easy. The uptown is just as accessible as outlying areas like RIM Park. There’s lots of nearby shopping such as Glenridge Plaza and the Wholesale Club. There are no schools in Glenridge but neighbouring schools aren’t too far away.
