Rosemount is an older central Kitchener neighbourhood east of the expressway and bounded by the Stanley Park Conservation Area, Ottawa and Victoria. Its location is perfect for accessing the expressway, 401, or trips to Guelph. Several bus routes run through Rosemount and the LRT is one neighbourhood away to the west.

The section along Victoria is 100% commercial but the rest of the area is suburban. Almost all the homes in the area are going to date from the 1950 and 60s. These are typically well built smaller bungalows of between 1000 to 1200 square feet. You do see side splits, some two storeys, smaller apartments, towns and semis as well. This is one of the neighborhoods where people are eager to rehabilitate these older homes with very positive results.

For things to do you’ve got the downtown, Bingemans across Victoria, the Stanley Park bush I mentioned earlier, the Auditorium and Chicopee. You’ve got Stanley Park and Frederick malls for shopping as well.
